ONION CRIES is an art project that deals with the subject of crying.

Who can cry?
What’s the weight of a tear?
Does it change the world?
What are we crying over?
Where can we cry?

We hide crying, we’re thinking that it’s a shameful sign of weakness. And yet tears can free us from overwhelming emotions. Is a cry an evidence of sensitivity?

In the Onion Cries project, we rip off a comfortable individual mask and we’re looking for a real answer, why are we crying. In this project, we empower crying and show the natural emotions that we should never be ashamed of!

Everyone intrigued by the topic is invited to participate in the project. During the photo shoot we will create unique portraits of people cutting onions and shedding tears .
