Zhenya Topov Handpan Music and Guests

You are invited to come along and chill out to original Handpan (Hang) compositions and improvisations in the cozy warmth of Bar Deriva. I will have a few surprise guests joining me through out and we will cap the evening off with a once in a lifetime impro jam.

Zhenya Topov is a handpan (Hang-Drum) percussionist, composer for dance and theatre as well as a physical theatre practitioner and pedagogue.
Zhenya combines his passions of music and theatre in his compositions, creating dramatic structures and improvising within them. He evokes spiralling cycles with subtle variations on the theme, creating evocative spaces for the listener to journey through. Zhenya's comprovisations are influenced by Steve Reich, Nills Frahm, Lyubomir Melnik, and Detroit Techno
