UniJon are a musician couple from Iceland. Their music is acoustic folk – related to their very special country Iceland, but also inspired by European and American Folk. Even though their main instrumentation is vocal and guitar, they spice it up with Ukulele and Hand drums. Giving their music a sense of romance and adventure. In order to survive the dark and dramatic winters of Iceland they are sustained with receiving and giving music. Over the past 3 years they have worked together. Both being solo artists for years, they decided to form a duo together. They join forces to deepen even more the connection to the world through music. They look at their music as a way to heal. Heal themselves, people who listen and the world. Their new album was just released in the beginning of september 2013.
