Richard Nygård is the driving force behind Oslo’s up-and-coming band The Beautybag, with influences that include Leonard Cohen & Neil Young. A keen observer of life around him, Richard puts his post-modern reflections into his music. The songs conjure a contemplative atmosphere which is matched with his musical ability and rounded vocals. Tom Griffin is a veteran of the late 90’s Brit-indie scene. He moved to Oslo, turning his hand to writing supercharged folk-rock. His finely crafted self contained songs are inspired by his love of 60’s/70’s material. His vocals are balanced by his rich acoustic guitar, reflecting an emotional backdrop of punchy and soulful melodies.
