Songwriting workshops - How to write a good song

[ofen] bar & concerts gladly presents our weekly workshops :

Every Monday Dario Alfabeta (former owner of Ofen Bar and now event and tour manager with Ofen Concerts & Booking) will talk about songwriting helped by Chris Angel Walker (singer, guitarist and songwriter from the band Substereo) with presentations which will cover topics such as:
- writing technique
- lyrics
- structure analysis
- song development
- creativity improvement

We'll focus on how a song can start and how it can end, we'll give advice about how to write a bridge or a middle eight giving examples from well-known songs. We'll discuss as well about the instrumental parts, the sound, the lyrics, the length and other important details and tricks.
Some songwriters from Berlin's music scene will be our guests talking about their own songwriting experience and the way they write a song.
Some of the workshops will entail the songbook of a famous band/artist.
The audience will be free to take part in a discussion and taking an active part in the meetings.
