Ihr Repertoire reicht von georgischen über polnische, ukrainische, russische, bulgarische, mazedonische, serbische, bosnische bis hin zu Gesängen vom türkischen Schwarzmeer – einfach einzigartig. Ihre sorgfältig ausgewählten Arrangements sind sowohl traditionell als auch experimentell. Ob sie auf Hochzeiten, Feiern oder Konzerten musizieren: die drei Stimmen füllen und beleben jeden Raum. Three women from different corners of the globe are drawn into a touching journey of jarring relevance today: The search for universal roots through polyphonic vocal folk music - the voices that connect us to our ancestors and a rose painted time when community was strong, nature inside our souls and suffering beautiful in its tragedy.
But the grinding, booming, flashing seduction of the city is not our soul's choice- we cannot escape ourselves and our time and anyway, what do we really know of our great great grandmothers' lives of tending sheep with cold in their bones?
