She’s playing a unique blend of folk-pop (someone said Neo-Folk). This American genre filtered through her Swedish heritage, becomes something totally unique, a blend that has attracted attention from a broad audience all over the world. Her combination of modal chord changes and beautiful 60's euro-pop melodies combined with the gentle singing of a 70's folk songstress will make you think of Joni Mitchell, Nick Drake, Jewel and Aimee Mann.She has just come back to Europe after a 1,5 year long tour and over 250+ concerts in the USA. She is now based in Berlin, Germany and will be touring in Germany and the rest of Europe during 2013-2014. Sofia Talvik is absolutely freaking gorgeous, and her charming stage presence will draw you in, all the more. OLIVER HASSE (GER):
Oliver Hasse (*1985) ist Singer-Songwriter aus Oranienburg, einer Kleinstadt in der Nähe Berlins. Er hat bislang sechs Alben aufgenommen, das erste mit dem Titel Oneirology im Jahr 2009, das neueste With The Wolves im Februar 2013. Alle Platten streamen auf seiner Website: www.oliverhasse.com. Ein Jahr lang (2010) lebte er als einer von 78 artists in residence in einem Kunstprojekt: 2-3 Straßen*. Danach bereiste er per Anhalter als mittelloser Straßenmusiker Teile Europas, machte zwischendurch Platten, spielte sporadisch Konzerte. Vor Kurzem trug er Rucksack und Gitarre 800 Kilometer quer durch den Norden Spaniens. Seine Performances sind sehr dynamisch. Es gibt leichtes Fingerpicking zu Storytelling-Songs und raues, elektro-akustisches Gekreische. Dazu kommen ein oder zwei Songs am Piano und ab und zu eine Geschichte von der Straße.
