Originally from Brisbane (Australia), Hannah Cameron relocated to Melbourne in 2009 to pursue her studies at the Victorian College of Arts. It was here that she began collaborations with bassist James Gilligan.
In early 2012,
the pair embarked upon a new duo project that utilizes traditional notions of songwriting and improvisational formulas. Their blend of voices with contrabass and nylonstring guitars produce a multifaceted sound with a sense of depth and anonymity.
Collective influences include Joni Mitchell, Laura Marling, The Punch Brothers and Skuli Sverrisson'Seria.

From 2010 to this day, 23-year-old Snake Fuzz Moan has been playing genuine folk music. Based on low tunings (reminiscence of the stoner scene he's been part of with various bands) and fingerpicking technique, SFM's music is one you could call "visual".
After several years playing venues and festivals in France, Snake Fuzz Moan left his hometown, Lyon, to settle down in Berlin.
Bands like Junip, Low, or folk artist Will Stratton, are notable influences.
