The Irvine Chinese Chorus(爾灣華聲合唱團) and the Orange County Ladies Chorus(橙縣女生合唱團), hailing from California, will host the " Away " concert in both cities. Led by Mr. Sam Wei-Chih Sun, recipient of the Outstanding Young Chinese American Award in Los Angeles and a piano professor at Azusa Pacific University, over sixty talented members will grace the stage. The opportunity to perform at the embassy is deeply honored. Themed "Away," the concert invites audiences to rediscover the joy of communal musical experiences post-epidemic. The Irvine Chinese Chorus, Southern California's largest Chinese choir ensemble with over ninety members, brings a rich repertoire that has graced prestigious events. Featuring songs in German, English, Mandarin, Taiwanese, and Hakka, the concert promises a cultural journey, including folk tunes like "Autumn Cicada" and "Craving for Spring Breeze." Join us for the " Away " concert, held in two sessions, including a collaboration with the Potsdam 360° Choir. All are warmly invited to celebrate the harmony of voices united.
