Sustainability Discussion #3 - Berlin’s Sustainable Summer
How can you contribute to Berlin’s Sustainable Summer? Which climate- and/or environmentally-friendly Berlin initiatives do you know and how can we get involved?What is it?
In a time when we're missing common social interactions we want to create a space where we can share and discuss ideas. We are mostly students and will be discussing small Berlin-based climate action initiatives and projects we have heard about. The idea is to share opportunities and motivation for getting active this summer for climate and/or environmental protection. You are very welcome to share the projects or events you know about with us in a small, relaxed setting. The conversation will take place in English.
Who's organising?
The Sustainability Office International at the HU University, Berlin: a group of current and former students passionate about having discussions and implementing sustainable change in our university and environment.
How do I prepare for and/or join the discussion?
Think about what sustainable initiatives you know about in Berlin and maybe ask your friends for other input. You are welcome to prepare as many environmentally/climate friendly action (ideas) and/or events as you’d like to share - or simply come as an interested participant.
Optional preparation:
1. Have pen and paper ready to jot down thoughts during the discussion. We will use a speakers' list if there are many participants, so you might have to wait a couple minutes before you can share your thoughts.
