What's the best way to discover a culture if not through books written by its people? Of course it's not the only way to do it, but it's the cheapest and the closest at hand.

Every month we'll select a country and a rough list of books written by national authors or books set in that country and talk about them. Discover the literature of other places we have or haven't seen, the dramas and the joys of other people, the cities, the villages, the mountains, and the seas.

It doesn't matter if you read books written by Spanish writers or set in Spain a while ago, or you'll do the effort for this meeting, the purpose is to discover this country through the books who talk about it.
