Helen Flanagan (UK) graduated from Falmouth College of Arts with a First BA (hons) in Photography and is a recent Masters graduate from AKV St. Joost in the Netherlands. She is a multi-media artist who is interested in how meaning is implied or created, significantly how humankind categorises ones existence in order to cope with it.
For this night she will show the work 'Trance': http://www.helenflanaganphotography.co.uk/index.php/sound/trance/
Santeri Taurula (FI) is a recent graduate of the Royal Academy of Art in The Hague (NL) and winner of the Stroom encouragement prize. For the Toilet Gallery he will make a site specific work in which he experiments with the notion transformation.

Hannah Kalverda (NL) completed a BA in Photography at the Royal Academy of Arts in The Hague and a premaster in Philosophy at the VUB in Brussels. Together with Annabel Hesselink she hosts The Toilet Gallery. For this night she will show an installation called 'Songs about stars', a jukebox that will make you wander through space.
Leela May Stokholm (DK/GB) is a performer, theatre maker and visual artist, based in Amsterdam. She will perform "Horse in me"; a concert/ trip/ journey with singing and playing on an amplified winebox with elastics, improvising with own texts and poems. It is crooked and magical, mythical and down to earth recognisable, transforming objects into music instruments and thoughts into clouds.
Quelle und Echo (DE) is a duo that went nuts about field recording as a way to re-discover reality. With their ears trained in classical music, electronic avant-garde and pop music alike, they were fascinated to extract rhythms and tunes out of weird everyday sounds.
Yet, Quelle und Echo underline the performative aspect of electronic music, they play electronic instruments and add vocals to make their dark soundscapes come to life.
