Mehr als 50 Künstlerinnen und Künstler offnen in der Berliner Allee 252 in der Kreativstadt - European Creative Center - (ecc-network.de) ihre Studios, Werkstatten und Ausstellungsraume am 26.11.11 von 13-20 Uhr und 27.11.11 von 13-18 Uhr.
In Berlin ist das großte Atelierhaus (ECC) eine beliebte Anlaufstelle von vielen Kreativen und Kunstschaffenden aus der ganzen Welt. In den 350 Ateliers treffen internationale und nationale Künstlerinnen und Künstler aufeinander - ein Ort des Austausches und der Auseinandersetzung.
Das Atelierhaus liegt mit dem Rathaus Weißensee in einem großen Gebaudekomplex, ein aus Backstein errichteter Fabrikkomplex aus den dreißiger Jahren des letzten Jahrhunderts, der spater von der sowjetischen Kommandantur, dann der DDR-Staatssicherheit und zuletzt vom Finanzamt genutzt wurde.A
In der 800mA² großen Fabrikhalle im Erdgeschoß des Atelierhauses wird wie in den Vorjahren eine Zusatzausstellung von 16 internationalen Künstlerinnen und Künstlern gezeigt.A
Organisiert vom Bezirksamt Pankow gibt es am 26. und 27.11.11 um 14 Uhr jeweils eine Führung durch die Ausstellung und die Ateliers. Treffpunkt: Große Ausstellungshalle im Erdgeschoß (Eingang 27).A
Der Eintritt in die Ausstellung und die Teilnahme an der Führung sind kostenlos.

More than 50 artists are opening their studios, work shops and exhibition rooms at the European Creative Center (ecc-network.de), Berliner Allee 252, on Saturday Nov. 26th 2011 fron 1 pm -8 pm and Sunday Nov. 27, 2011 from 1 pm - 6 pm.
As the largest studio complex in Berlin (the ECC) is a popular destination for many creative people and art makers from all over the world. In the 350 studios international and national artists meet with each other, a location of exchange and discussion.
The studio house is located annexed to the city hall in Weißensee in a large building complex, a factory complex constructed of brick from the 30s, which was later used as a soviet command station, then as a DDR- government defense building, and then used as a financial office building.
In the 800 qm large factory hall in the ground floor of the studio house, there is an additional exhibition as in previous years, with 16 international artists exhibiting.
On the 26th and 27th of Nov, 2011 each day at 2 pm a tour of the exhibition and of the studios is organised by the district office. Meeting point: the large exhibition hall (Entrance 27).
There is no admission fee and visiting the tour is free.
