-Please, close the door- is a performance about privacy. It questions our behaviour in different situations and around different people. Where does the line between appropriate and inappropriate behaviour lie? And where are the boundaries of acceptable exposure?
Observe, listen and meet us, but we ask, please close the door.

Anniina Ala-Ruona, Venla Helenius and Irene Moray
Anniina Ala-Ruona and Venla Helenius are a finnish art duo from Helsinki and Irene Moray is a photographer from Barcelona. They met in Berlin a couple of months ago and got the idea of creating something collaborative together. They held on to that decision and now they are presenting their first performance at WerkStadt.

"Bitte, schließen Sie die Tür" ist eine Performance zum Thema Privatsphare. Sie stellt unser Verhalten in verschiedenen Situationen und mit unterschiedlichen Menschen in Frage. Wo liegt die Grenze zwischen angebrachtem und unangebrachtem Verhalten? Und in wieweit ist eine Enthüllung akzeptabel?

Anniina Ala-Ruona, Venla Helenius und Irene Moray
Anniina Ala-Ruona und Venla Helenius sind ein finnisches Kunst-Duo aus Helsinki. Irene Moray ist eine Fotografin aus Barcelona. Sie haben sich vor ein paar Monaten in Berlin kennengelernt und hatten die Idee, etwas Gemeinsames zu entwickeln. Daran haben sie sich gehalten und prasentieren nun ihren ersten Auftritt in der WerkStadt.
