Closing ceremony of Julia Kukkonen's exhibition (participatory performance, sound art & meditation)
Saturday March 2nd from 15-17 h
A participatory performance, building a Mandala, and a guided Tonglen meditation. Feel most welcome to join the ceremony and the last chance to see the exhibition. It is recommended to wear comfortable clothes and bring a cushion to sit on during the meditation. There will be some tea and snacks afterward.

Bring your own objects.
Together we want to create a Mandala made of special objects that can be used everyday, or objects that are sacred to us. On an everyday basis. It could be your mobile phone, your toothbrush, your house keys, your special crystals or ritual objects. I want to bring special quartz crystals and rocks that I collected myself in Iceland, a few personal items collected in my life that can represent the past, the future or present but different elements like water, fire or ether.
The idea is to build a space that represents us, our inner selves, and connect it with our divine nature. Therefore healing in a mutual exchange, through our own healing process the earth can heal too.
This ceremony is a in a nutshell safe space, the Tonglen (giving and taking) is used in a Tibetan meditation by Kathleen McDonald.
