Die Ausstellung (kuratiert von Aubrey Powell und John Colton, Browse Gallery) markiert das 50-jährige Jubiläum der Veröffentlichung des ikonischen Pink Floyd Albums „The Dark Side of The Moon“ im Jahr 1973.
Präsentiert werden zum einen künstlerische Arbeiten (großformatige Fine Arts Drucke) der bahnbrechenden Album Cover Art von HIPGNOSIS, die mit dem Design für das Album ihren Durchbruch erfuhr.
In einer outdoor Installation vor dem Ausstellungsraum ist der zweite Teil der Ausstellung zu sehen: Berliner und internationale Fotograf*innen beschäftigen sich mit den Themen des Albums und ihrem Gegenwartsbezug.
Mit freundlicher Unterstützung durch die Berliner Senatsverwaltung für Kultur und Gesellschaftlichen Zusammenhalt.
Die Ausstellungseröffnung am 3.11.23 um 19 Uhr findet in Anwesenheit des HIPGNOSIS-Gründers Aubrey Powell statt.

The two-part exhibition (curated by Aubrey Powell and John Colton, Browse Gallery) is marking the 50th anniversary of the release of the iconic Pink Floyd album "The Dark Side of The Moon" in 1973.
On the one hand, artistic works (large-format Fine Arts prints) of the groundbreaking album cover art by HIPGNOSIS, which had its breakthrough with the design for the album, will be presented.
The second part of the exhibition can be seen in an outdoor installation in front of the exhibition space: Berlin and international photographers* deal with the themes of the album and their reference to the present.
The exhibition opening on November 3 at 7 pm will take place in the presence of HIPGNOSIS founder Aubrey Powell.
