Artist Talk at Kapital

On February 21st, we’ll be welcoming our next guest Berlin-based artist Hannah Jones.

Hannah Jones is a Berlin-based artist who grew up in Swansea, Wales. She is inspired by songs, colours and shapes. Her pieces usually begin with a synesthesia type experience translated into painting through her compositions, primarily on canvas and paper. With multiple shows around Europe and in America. Jones graduated from college with a focus in camera work, moving, and still images.

Her earlier work took her around Europe photographing live music, including the likes of Liam Gallagher, Pete Doherty and Trampolene - but, with a paint brush, her experiences find a different way of channeling her love of abstraction into reality.
