Liebe Freunde, wir laden Sie herzlich zur Premiere des preisgekrönten tatarischen Films "Mullah" in Berlin ein, der im Rahmen einer Europatour (Berlin - Frankfurt am Main - Genf- Wien - Prag) stattfindet. Die Uraufführung in Berlin ist eine Initiative der Tatarischen Jugend Berlins. Unser neues Projekt #TatMADEniaet hat zum Ziel die moderne tatarische Kultur und Kunst einer breiten Öffentlichkeit in Europa bekannt zu machen. Der Produzent, Drehbuchautor und Komponist des Filmes, wird nach der Aufführung über den Film sprechen und die Publikumsfragen beantworten.

"Mullah" - basierend auf dem gleichnamigen Theaterstück von Tufan Minnullin.
Der Film erzählt, wie die Hauptfigur - Asfandiyar, der das Gefängnis verlässt - ein unerwartetes Angebot seines Onkels erhält, nämlich Mullah (geistlicher-religiöser Gelehrter) im Dorf zu werden. Sein Erscheinen provoziert eine Verschärfung der Konflikte im Dorf, in dem die Menschen ein ignorantes Leben führen - es herrschen Arbeitslosigkeit, Diebstahl, Gier und Unehre. Nachdem er schwierige Prüfungen überstanden hat, versteht der Held Asfandiyar, dass er am richtigen Ort ist und es seine Pflicht ist, allen zu helfen, die ihn brauchen.
Verliehene Filmpreise:
1. Internationales Filmfestival "Ost-West, Klassik und Avantgarde": zwei Preise in der Nominierung "Bester Film" und "Bester Schauspieler".
2. Internationales muslimisches Filmfestival Kasan: Preis in der Nominierung "Die beste Regiearbeit", Preis des Präsidenten der Republik Tatarstan "Für Humanismus im Kino".

Dear friends, we are gladly inviting you to the premiere of the magnificent Tatar film "Mullah" in Berlin. Mr. Marat Akhmetshin - producer, screenwriter and composer of the film, will also attend the premiere in order to personally present the film to the audience. The premiere will become part of the European tour (Berlin - Frankfurt - Geneva - Vienna - Prague) of the film. The viewing in Berlin will be offered in the scope of the Berlin Tatar Yäshläre // Tatarische Jugend Berlins // Berlin Tatar Youth new project named #tatMADEniaet. The mission of the project is to present the contemporary Tatar art and culture to the international public.

"Mullah" - Based on the play of the same name by Tufan Minnullin.
The film tells how the main character - Asfandiyar, receives an unexpected offer from his uncle - to become Mullah in the village, right after leaving the prison. The appearance of Mullah provokes aggravation of conflicts in the village. After going through serious challenges, the main character realizes that he is in the right place, and his duty is to help all those who need him.
Prizes:
1. International film festival "East West, Classics and Avant-garde", two prizes in the nomination "Best Film" and "Best Actor"
2. International Muslim Film Festival in Kazan. Prize in the nomination "Best Director's Work", prize of the President of the Republic of Tatarstan "For Humanism in Cinema".
