Sustainability Discussion #1

What is it?
In a time when we're missing common social interactions we want to create a space where we can share and discuss ideas. That's why we have decided to organise discussions where we can exchange thoughts, experiences and questions regarding what sustainability is and how to work towards it. The conversation will take place in English.
Who's organising?
The Sustainability Office International at the HU University, Berlin: a group of current and former students passionate about having discussions and implementing sustainable change in our university and environment.
How do I prepare for and/or join the discussion?
To start off this series of discussions, we begin with this fundamental question:
What is your definition of sustainability and how do you integrate it in to your life?
Optional preparation:
1. Do some research or gather your thoughts on how you understand or prioritize aspects within the complex topic of sustainability.
2. Prepare three personal experiences or resources on sustainability you would like to share/speak about with others (e.g. what are you doing/have done to live sustainably? Which blogs, books, or other resources would you share?)
3. Have pen and paper ready to jot down thoughts during the discussion. We will use a speakers' list so you might have to wait a few minutes before you can share your thoughts.
