►17th May with Dominika Dyminska and Nicola Tams (+more)

This time, we have two (+) incredible artists performing their poems/stories in different languages and styles. If you are an artist, feel free to join us and perform your own poem or short stories after the performances.

This time on stage:
Dominika Dyminska:

Dominika Dyminska is a writer, poet, translator, feminist and activist from Warsaw, Poland. She published three books: Mięso (2012), Danke (2016) and Pozdrowienia ze świata (2017). Danke was nominated for Nike award 2017 - the most important literary award in Poland. Her poems were published in numerous literary magazines. She has also translated a few books from English to Polish - e.g. Eating Animals by J.S. Foer or WHat animals think and feel by Carl Safina. She fights for women's rights and opposes the oppressive patriarchal system - she's a part of Polish feminist organization Dziewuchy Dziewuchom Berlin.

Nicola Tams:

Nicola Tams is a writer of prose and poetry with a philosophical background. After writing her last research papers on Derrida’s letters, she has lately been trying different media of expression. In her novel, she explores the questions of shame, femininity and feminism, power, and vulnerability and the series of poems presented here are written around the word of “change”.
