Extinction Rebellion lädt ab dem 05.10 zum größten innerstädtischen Klimacamp im Herzen Berlins ein! Bringt eure Zelte mit und macht mit bei einer Woche Workshops, regenerativer Kultur und Arbeit rund ums Thema Bürger*innerversammlung!
Seit Oktober letzen Jahres fordern Tausende von Menschen weltweit ihre Regierungen auf, die Schwere der Klimakrise anzuerkennen und zu handeln. Aber die Zeit drängt, wie können wir den benötigten Wandel noch rechtzeitig umsetzen? Hier setzt das Camp und die 3. Forderung von Extinction Rebellion an: Die Regierung soll eine Bürger*innenversammlung einberufen!
Bürger*innenversammlungen haben sich schon häufig in der Vergangenheit als erfolgreiches Mittel direkter demokratischer Einflussnahme bewiesen und stellen ein sinnvolle und notwendige Ergänzung zur repräsentativen Demokratie dar, um ein so ein wichtiges Thema auf breiter gesellschaftlicher Basis zu diskutieren und gemeinsame Lösungen zu finden. Deshalb werden wir im Camp in Workshops und Arbeitsgruppen das Thema von allen Seiten behandeln!
Mit einem vielfältigen und kreativen Programm wollen wir im Rahmen der Bürger*innenversammlung einen Gegenentwurf zu den zerstörerischen Routinen des Alltags aufzeigen und vorleben.

Extinction Rebellion Germany invites everyone to the biggest city-based climate camp in the history of Berlin on October 5! Bring your tents and join us for a week of amazing workshops, regenerative culture and work around the topic of citizens assemblies!
Since last October, thousands of people around the world have been calling for their governments to recognize and deal with the severity of the climate crisis. But time is short, how can we implement the needed change in time? This is where the climate camp and Extinction Rebellion’s third demand sets in - the Government must create and be led by the decisions of a citizens' assembly!
Citizens' assemblies have often been proven a successful mean of direct democratic influence in the past and also represent a necessary mode to representative democracy in order to discuss such an important topic within a broad social context to find common solutions. Therefore we will treat this topic from all sides in the camp in workshops and small working groups!
