Theater am Tisch,
an innovative performance concept that brings actors out of the theatre and into people's lives.
The theatre can be an elite and sometimes exclusive world – with Theatre am Tisch it is open to all comers, and there is no need to buy tickets! We aim for a democratic theatre, and seek to create an intimate experience for the public. By tearing down the famous fourth wall, actors and audience find themselves no longer separated by the stage.
Guests are invited to select from a theatrical menu of monologues or dialogues; choosing to taste which and how many acts they wish to see performed. Coming to the table, the actors perform the pieces for small groups, bringing together friends and strangers in a very personal and special atmosphere. We perform in 4 different languages - German, English, Spanish and Italian.
With an ever-changing menu featuring a selection of actors, genres and languages, TAT brings theatre to the table.
