Hey ihr Lieben,
ich möchte Euch auf eine Veranstaltung hinweisen, die für den einen oder die andere von Interesse sein könnte: Eine litauische Performance-Gruppe aus Vilnius zeigt morgen (2.11) und am Samstag (3.11.) im FLUGWERK in der Osloer Str. 12 jeweils um 19 Uhr in einer Werkschau ihr Performance-Stück "Antichrist". Es ist in litauischer Sprache und wird von englischen Untertiteln begleitet, der Eintritt ist natürlich frei!

"ANTICHRIST - ein Performance-Abend
Antichrist - das ist das Ende der Realität wie wir sie kennen. Unterwegs um die Eitelkeit des Universums in eine Wüste zu verwandeln und die Absurdität der Gegenwart erfahrbar zu machen, performen die neuen Propheten von Morgen so, als gäbe es keinen Morgen mehr.
Zum ersten Mal sind die Mitglieder des Artūras Areima Theater (Vilnius, Litauen) im FLUGWERK zu Gast, um ihre Arbeit “Antichrist” in einer offenen Probe und zwei Werkschauen vorzustellen. Das Artūras Areima Theater hat es sich zur Aufgabe gemacht, mit den konventionellen Haltungen und Stereotypen des Theaters zu brechen und einen eigenen Performancestil zu entwickeln

Beginn jeweils um 19 Uhr, Einlass ab 18:30 Uhr

"Antichrist" - the end of reality. Today it is difficult to talk about the society and the absurdity that surrounds us, but to remain silent is like to capitulate when faced with a massive avalanche, trying to defuse the last drop of our humanity. The world is increasingly aligned with the synthetic field in which we feel disorientated, we are panicking. We are afraid and try to control things, turn them sterile, and synthesize our surroundings. The same environment that leads us from the mind. We are looking for meaning and certainty in every step of our life and at the same time we are running from it. "Antichrist" is an unshakeable performance about values and values.

This theatre’s vision is to disturb the typical theatrical posture, break stereotypes, to flee from known and unknown theatrical clichés, get away from knowing. Theatre breaks into „life“(social consequences), theatre takes place not only in theatrical spaces "black boxes", but in everyday life environment, e.g.: stairwells, museums, etc. Most importantly, we are forced to seek the truth, question dogmas and ask inconvenient questions, help the disenfranchised youth in a consumer life to create a new culture that would abandon censorship and norms and become a free area.
