Berlin’s tattoo scene is fiercely competitive, diverse and immensely talented. The city’s penchant for attracting creative individuals from all over the globe has lead to a wide variety of styles and practices, and with it the emergence of new perspectives. Among these is a conversation led by queer and feminist artists that engages with issues previously neglected within the community.

Three of the scene’s stick-and-poke artists, Rozita (@rozita_ttoo), Gekku (@gekkku) and Hedda (@hunters.inkk) will join us at Sprechsaal to discuss sexism and feminism in the industry, with a special focus on bodily integrity, the intimacy of the act itself and the necessity of an appreciation for boundaries.

Drinks and coffee will be available. The event is free. Any donations to help Sprechsaal continue to host performances and discussions from the creative and literary sector are appreciated.
