DESCRIPTION:Liebe Freunde der Musik\,ist euch von der Nussknacker-Suite ein wochenlanger Ohrwurm geblieben? Möchtet ihr euren musikalischen Horizont über das Weihnachtsoratorium hinaus erweitern? Die Botschaft von Kanada\, die Studierenden des John-F.-Kennedy-Instituts und des Jazz Instituts der Universität der Künste\, freuen sich\, euch zu einem besonderen Konzert im Henry-Ford-Bau im Rahmen des Black History Month einzuladen. Wir präsentieren das Stück „Marron Inconnu“ von David Bontemps. Der in Port-Au-Prince\, Haiti geborene Komponist und Pianist lebt seit über 20 Jahren in Montreal und inspiriert die Musikszene über kanadische Grenzen hinaus mit seinem kontrastreichen Stil. Ebenfalls werden Stücke aus der „Canadiana Suite“ von achtfachem Grammy-Gewinner Oscar Peterson aufgeführt.Lasst uns gemeinsam zu zeitgenössischer Klassik und Jazzmusik feiern und die Einflüsse beider talentierten Künstler auf die kanadische und internationale Kunstszene würdigen!
