DESCRIPTION:Vortrag von Stefan WillerAngesichts der jüngsten Krisen ist die Zukunft etwas Sorgenvolles\, fast Angstbesetztes geworden. Konzepte wie Prävention oder Resilienz zielen darauf\, Schlimmstes zu verhindern oder sich wenigstens dagegen zu wappnen. Anders sieht es in der Science Fiction aus. Sie bietet nicht nur dystopische Untergangsvisionen\, sondern auch Szenarien von möglichen zukünftigen Welten. Der Vortrag sichtet Entwürfe naher und ferner Zukünfte in Literatur und Film.Stefan Willer ist Professor für Neuere deutsche Literatur an der Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin. Er forscht und lehrt über Literatur in kultur- und wissensgeschichtlichen Kontexten vom 17. Jahrhundert bis zur Gegenwart. Ein Forschungsschwerpunkt von Willer liegt auf ‚Zukunftswissen‘\, das einerseits Wissen über die Zukunft\, andererseits Wissen\, das erst in Zukunft vorliegen wird\, bezeichnet. Er ist (Mit-)Herausgeber verschiedener Bücher\, u.a.: „Prophetie und Prognostik. Verfügungen über Zukunft in Wissenschaften\, Religionen und Künsten“ und „Futorologien: Ordnungen des Zukunftswissens“.[EN] Lecture by Stefan WillerIn view of the recent crises\, the future has become something worrying\, almost anxiety-ridden. It not only offers dystopian visions of doom\, but also scenarios of possible future worlds. The lecture looks at drafts of near and distant futures in literature and film.Stefan Willer is Professor of Modern German Literature at the Humboldt University in Berlin. He researches and teaches literature in the context of the history of culture and knowledge from the 17th century to the present day. One of Willer’s main areas of research is ‘future knowledge\,’ which on the one hand refers to knowledge about the future and on the other to knowledge that will only be available in the future. He is (co-)editor of various books\, including: “Prophetie und Prognostik.
