DESCRIPTION:Davide Presciuttini – AusstellungDavide Presciuttini was born and raised in Rome\, where he graduated in Philosophy. Being intellectually a suspicious skeptical\, he expresses in his art the never ending fractal and messy nature of reality’s perception\, that doesn’t let itself rule by standardised ideas and frameworks. He was always attracted to Roman baroque and its excesses. The dramatic spectacle of the eternal city’s squares and churches is an incredible propaganda system celebrating the power of the catholic church. In a world where the divine has disappeared\, the painter produces a new baroque art\, that is not celebrating any heavenly nor worldly absolute meaning\, but instead the nothingness and randomness of our experience. His paintings are open mystical symbols without a reference\, where no meaning is concealed\, apart from the quest for a meaning. This can be read as a nihilistic stance\, but also as an opportunity to establish creatively new connections between the dots of our reality. The open question is\, is there a pattern or structure in the world we live in? Well\, if one wants to see it\, then it will appear. Please bring Covid Test and/or Vaccination proof!
