DESCRIPTION:The overall situation for people searching for jobs is currently challenging – to say the least. While German companies are extensively supported with government funding to avoid lay-offs in large proportions\, the job market is still effected a lot. Industries like hospitality and events are only re-opening incrementally\, in other sectors\, companies still tend to be hesitant to hire in these times of uncertainty.However\, we as Job Counselors are convinced\, that the current situation provides also good chances to enhance one‘s own employability and market-readiness.(Individually\, the current situation may also bring up new opportunities.) Have you defined your target jobs and industries?Do you already communicate your strength consistently across cover letter\, CV and social media profiles?Is your formal qualification officially acknowledged in Germany yet? Tobias Schmidtner will cover all these issues and many more. There will also be the opportunity to address your individual matters directly.Your Host?Tobias Schmidtner studied cultural anthropology and had a career in organizational development and HR for more than 12 years. Since 2016 he is helping jobseekers from all kinds of professional backgrounds and origins to establish their professional life in Berlin.
