DESCRIPTION:17.-28.8.2021​Antte Kerkola\, Reija Palo-oja &amp\; Rea Pelto-UotilaOur collaborative exhibition in Galerie Pleiku combines different materials indicatively inthe spirit of Bauhaus. The exhibition\, among other things\, displays handicrafts\, chromaticsand entities exploring elements of abstract art\, as in line with each artist´s interest. Someof our artwork have previously been seen in Galerie Pleiku in autumn 2018.The basis of Antte Kerkola´s artwork are the varved and graphic form of transparentsurface water. In the paintings\, the subject transform to the tune of materials and thepictures are filled with overlapping abstract paint layers and plain details. In the artwork\,the importance of composition is emphazised. The paintings have been painted ontorecycled material\, old roller blinds. The exhibition has been supported by the ArtsPromotion Centre Finland.Reija Palo-oja´s intensely colored and mentally-charged collection is like fragments fromthe walls of an imaginery house and the layers patinated by time. The art pieces take format terms of space and strongly create a twofold experience between immaterial buoyancyand ruggedness. Palo-oja´s interests in Itten´s and Goethe´s teachings of color andabstract expressions and sensibility of working are emphazised in the collection.The exhibition and the artist’s work have been supported by the Arts Promotion CentreFinlandand the Turku Art Society.In the works of Rea Pelto-Uotila\, ecologic natural materials transform into functional andaesthetic three-dimensional surfaces. At the heart of the working process are reduction ofform\, redundancy and abundance of structures. The pieces are prepared with rag rugstechique\, which has now been applied in a new way. The artwork bring the breeze frompast tradition to the present day.***Unsere gemeinschaftliche Ausstellung in der Galerie Pleiku vereint verschiedene Materialienin dem Geiste des Bauhauses. Die Ausstellung zeigt unter anderem Handwerk\, Chromatikund Gebilde\, die Elemente der abstrakten Kunst\, wie sie zu den Interesse jedes Künstlerspassen. Einige unserer Werke wurden bereits im Herbst 2018 in der Galerie Pleiku gezeigt.Die Grundlage von Antte Kerkola´s Kunst ist die geschnitzte und bildhafte Form des transparenten Oberflächenwassers. In den Gemälden verändert sich das Thema passend zu den Materialien und die Bilder sind voller sich überschneidender Farbschichten und einfacher Details. In der Kunst wird die Wichtigkeit der Komposition unterstrichen. Die Gemälde wurden auf recyceltem Material hergestellt\, alten Fensterrollo. Die Ausstellung wurde von dem Arts Promotion Centre Finland unterstützt.Reija Palo-oja´s stark gefärbte und geistig geladene Sammlung ähnelt Fragmenten von Wändeneines erfundenen Hauses und von der Zeit patinierten Schichten. Die Kunststücke nehmen räumlich Form an und schaffen eine starke zweifältige Erfahrung zwischen immaterieller Auftriebskraft und Widerstandsfähig. Palo-oja´s Interesse an der Farblehre und abstrakten Ausdrücken und Empfindung des Arbeitens von Itten und Goethe werden in der Sammlung hervorgehoben. Die Ausstellung und die Welt des Künstlers wurden von dem Arts Promotion Centre Finland und der Turku Art Society unterstützt.In den Werken von Rea Pelto-Uotila werden ökologische natürliche Materialien in funktionelle und ästhetische dreidimensionale Oberflächen verwandelten. Im Herzen des Arbeitsprozesses stehen die Verminderung von Form\, Redundanz und Fülle an Strukturen. Die Stücke werden mit der Flickenteppich-Technik hergestellt\, welche auf eine neue Weise angewendet wurde. Die Kunst bringt die Brise vergangener Tradition in das Jetzt.
