DESCRIPTION:Arrecheras Heterodisidentes is a platform for research\, reflection and libertarian action that seeks the exploration in live-art\, audiovisual and visual arts\, around the representation of sexualities and gender performativities that leave the heterosexual political regime. The curatorship began in 2014 and is carried out annually in a self-managed way in Bogotá\, Colombia. The platform focuses on the analysis of audiovisual productions related to identity processes and practices that are alternatives to the hetero-capitalist representation system in the global South. In this sense\, when we talk about the global South we refer to the productions from geographies that live and resist colonial and neo-colonial dynamics\, within a social and economic structure with high material and symbolic inequalities.The selection of the films that will be presented at Utopia Summer School 2019 aims to draw a cartography about the references that have stood out in the contemporary Latin American gender and sexual dissent.Patricia Gonzalez\, was born in Bogotá\, Colombia. She studied anthropology with an interest focused in gender studies. She has been screenwriter and producer in the television programs: El Espejo\, Poesía Capital. She was Artistic Director at the International Short Film Festival and El Espejo film schools. Currently is the co-director of the Arrecheras Heterodisidentes Audiovisual Exhibition.
