DESCRIPTION:The exhibition Art Without Borders\, in collaboration with Transform Europeand curated by Shirley Meshulam\, recognizes the principle of reality while making use of images of the reality. The photography and installation artists taking part in this exhibition\; Alona Harpaz\, Daniel Tchetchik\, Hannah Shaviv\, Amira Kasim Ziyan\, Eitan Buganim\, Ilia Yefimovich\, Sigal Kolton\, Orly Feldheim\, the Israeli and Palestinian newspaper photographers\, Gil Nechushtan\, Mahfouz Abu Turk and the Palestinian sculptor Osama Zatar\, deal with reality and its images as well criticize it.The artists relate to the universal and/or the local political reality\, through themes such as refugees\, terrorism\, the wars and conflicts in the Arab world\, Zionism\, and the Palestinian Nakba. The photography artists stretch the ‘borders of photography’ by bringing together ‘documentary photography’ with ‘processed’ photography.
