DESCRIPTION:The Salt Welcome is a band formed and based in Berlin. It started in 2015\, as a collaboration between Michelangelo Contini (Italy-nylonstring guitar + voice) and Gearóid Ua Laoghaire (Ireland-electric guitar + effects). Some months later Brazilian cello player Eurico Ferreira Mathias and drummer Aaron Snyder joined the project.The band has been for the last year\, working on developing and arranging a set list of original songs written by Michelangelo Contini that gives an insight into the diverse influences and musical backgrounds\, brought by each member of the band. The powerful Cello playing of Eurico Ferreira Mathias creates a harmonic and rhythmical bed thus weaving the band sound into a playful yet rich aural experience.Yes indeed folks\, The Salt Welcome are ready for road!
