Wie begegnet sie der rasanten Aneignung des öffentlichen Raums durch private Akteure und Politik? Welche Praktiken muss sie entwickeln? Wie bricht sie bestehende Koordinaten durch subversive Strategien?Das Projekt KOORDINATENSYSTEM bringt ausgewählte WissenschaftlerInnen sowie Kunst- und Kulturschaffende aus zwölf ost- und mitteleuropäischen Ländern mit Berliner Initiativen zusammen. In verschiedenen Formaten präsentieren und kartografieren die TeilnehmerInnen vom 14. bis 21. Mai aktuelle urbane Aktivismuskunst im europäischen Raum. Für das Art Forum vom 20. bis 21. Mai laden Kunstschaffende die Öffentlichkeit zu Artist-Talks\, Vorträgen\, Podiumsdiskussionen und Videoscreenings ein. Im für die Öffentlichkeit nicht zugänglichen Lab (14. bis 19. Mai) vernetzen sich KünstlerInnen\, AktivistInnen und StadtforscherInnen\, um Wissen zu generieren\, Inspirationen zu sammeln und Projekte zu entwerfen. Im Rahmen des Gesamtprojektes KOORDINATENSYSTEM zeigt die begleitende Ausstellung KOORDINATENSYSTEM. Neue städtische Realität alternative Kunstformen/Urban Art im putinisierten Russland.Ausstellung KOORDINATENSYSTEM. Neue Städtische Realität (13.-24. Mai)„Prozesse der Raum-Kommerzialisierung“\, so die KuratorInnen\, „sind in Russland „sehr radikal und finden rasant statt. Die Frage ist\, können öffentliche Räume mit künstlerischen Mitteln demokratisiert\, geöffnet werden?“Die Ausstellung erforscht mit den HauptakteurInnen der meist illegal agierenden Szene Russlands exemplarisch\, wie Aktivismuskunst urbane Topografien wandelt. Teils monumentale&nbsp\;Installation\, teils subtile Recherche und Intervention im städtischen Raum\, brechen und poetisieren die künstlerischen Eingriffe das Alltägliche. Gleichzeitig sind sie ein rebellischer Aufruf zur Partizipation unterhalb des kommerziellen\, institutionellen und politischen Radars. So erfinden Grischa und Urban Art Meister 0331С mit Petroglyphen im städtischen Kontext Graffiti Art neu. Das Urban Fauna Lab experimentiert mit urbanisierter Flora und Fauna. Timofey Radya dominiert die urbane Landschaft mit kritischen\, raumgreifenden Werken.
