Regelmäßig werden renommierte und weniger bekannte Arbeiten unterschiedlicher osteuropäischer und westlicher Dokumentarfilmschulen von Filmexpert*innen und Filmemacher*innen vorgestellt. Die Filmvorführungen finden im P.A.N.D.A. Theater / Kulturbraurei in Berlin statt. Eröffnet wird die Filmreihe mit der Deutschland-Premiere von "The Theory of Happiness" (2014) in Anwesenheit des Regisseurs Gregory Gan (Toronto). The documentary series opens with a screening of an ethnographic feature film entitled “The Theory of Happiness” (2014)\, which received its world premiere at the Hot Docs International Documentary Film Festival in April 2014\, and was nominated for Best Canadian Documentary.
