People with a diasporically-centered and international background or marginalized people due to gender identity\, sexual orientation\, disability-related\, age\, social status or more have other views and other experiences. Their poems can speak a different\, new and reflective language. So\, if you want to listen to poets from every corner of the world and reality\, mixed up with drinks and soul food from Mimi's Chop Bar in a family atmosphere you shouldn't miss that event.
