DESCRIPTION:Join us on the 26th of April for an International English Stand Up Comedy Showcase in the very exceptional and alternative world of Teepeeland. The event will be taking in a very beautiful boathouse on the&nbsp\;Spree. https://www.facebook.com/events/893248977404750/ This month's comedy show is a very special one. It is organised in collaboration with the MakeSense community and is dedicated for the cause of Refugees in Germany. In order to raise the attention about the topic\, Make Sense: one of the largest global networks supporting social entrepreneurs\, decided to mobilize Berliners around a cause which deeply affects our day-to-day life\, by setting up an awareness campaign based on a series of events about the topic during the whole month of April. More than 10 events will be organized – ranging from "Holdups"\, workshops\, to an Afghan cuisine workshop\, a street musician performance\, a theater workshop\, a visit to a refugee camp\, comedy show... Some of the comedy sets will be written around that cause. Entry is for free and based on donations. //How to get there// Get off at OSTBAHNHOF\, cross the bridge on Schillingbrücke turn right down the stairs\, and follow the path for 200 meters ///Show's description/// The show will be consisting of 4 international standup comedians performing each their best comedy set in English. Two 5' spots will be available for anyone motivated during the evening to grab the mic and try some comedy material. Anyone is more than welcome to perform. Sign ups take place on the same night during the break.
