SUMMARY:Knoblauch Klezmer Band in der Blume!
DESCRIPTION:Die KKB ist diesmal in der vollen Besetzung zu hören - mit Chris (Akkordeon)\, Arnaud (Klarinette)\, Eli (Violine)\, Leon (Kontrabass) und Max (Percussion)!Founded in November 2011\, the Knoblauch Klezmer Band is a young multi-cultural (Jewish\, Scottish\, German\, French\, Russian) musical storm based in Berlin. Knoblauch means Garlic in German\, and the name is no coincidence or silly joke. Garlic\, ''the Fruit of Love''\, is full of smell\, taste\, spiciness\, crunchiness and health. This is why it was chosen as the symbol of the band. The five musicians (clarinet\, violin\, accordion\, double-bass and percussion) burst with energy on stage and use the music to break the walls of alienation so the audience could directly experience the spicy taste of theworld.Though mainly focusing on Klezmer music – the garlicky repertoire stretches far beyond traditional Klezmer pieces and contains also Gypsy\, Serbian\, Bulgarian and Greek folk songs together with an ever growing pool of original compositions inspired by those styles.Besides Specializing in making people dance uncontrollably\, The Knoblauchs are also faithful to the Klezmer tradition of crying through laughing and laughing through tears. Whether fueling the unconquerable will to live or touching the deep melancholia that is hidden in each one\, of us\, the music of the Knoblauchs will reach in deep and move the body and soul.
