Her poetry features in Salt's Best British Poetry 2012 and is available as a chapbook\, Quick\, to the Hothouse\, from dancing girl press. Her fiction—which Tom Robbins described as "among the most exciting things I've read since social networking crippled the Language Wheel"—has been commissioned for BBC Radio\, awarded the SBT New Writer Award\, and performed at the Edinburgh International Book Festival.Katherine Leyton's poetry has appeared in numerous literary magazines\, both at home in Canada and abroad\, including The Edinburgh Review\, Hazlitt andContemporary Verse 2. She was recently selected to be the inaugural Poet-In-Residence at the Al Purdy A-Frame in Ameliasburg\, Canada for the summer of 2014. She is also the founder of How Pedestrian\, a project that brought poetry to the streets and captured it on video. She lives in Toronto.Melanie Sevcenko is a journalist and poet. Working in both radio and print\, her work has been published and broadcasted by Al Jazeera\, BBC\, Deutsche Welle\, Global Post\, Monocle\, Toronto Star\, CBC Radio and Snap Judgment (NPR and PRX)\, amongst others. She also produces the radio program Berlin Stories for NPR Berlin. Her poetry and short fiction has been published by apt\, newleaf\, The Fourth River\, Sojourn\, BlazeVOX and Nexus.
