Bio-inspired product and thought design. How would we design our buildings\, make &amp\; transport goods\, harvest water &amp\; energy\, and produce our food if we saw nature’s elaborate solutions as a role model?In 3.8 billion years\, nature has developed elegant designs\, processes\, and systems that solved all problems life can encounter on earth. Why not using those as an inspiration to solve our man-made problems? In our workshop\, we will explore &amp\; teach how biological solutions and systems can inform human design\, architecture\, technology\, and economy. He lived in the US\, Edinburgh and Stockholm. Berlin is his current choice. He loves to travel and to explore nature. Climbing\, cycling\, and Parkour all excite him big-time. He holds a PhD in neuroscience and has a passion for efficiency and betterment. In Biomimicry he sees the combination of all that: challenge\, innovation\, universality\, efficiency\, and nature. Arndt is co-founder and CEO of Biomimicry Germany e.V.Dr. Prateep BeedGiven his interdisciplinary academic background in engineering and psychology\, Prateep started seeing the strength in combining his seemingly independent disciplines of study thereby shaping a new kind of thought process – design thinking. In 2012\, this gave way to the co-founding of Biomimicry Germany\, a think-and-do-tank to foster sustainable innovation inspired by nature. Prateep's strengths are positive\, critical thinking combined with an extreme curiosity and the desire to actively shape a better world.
