DESCRIPTION:Ein allseits umschlossener Garten  Von der Form her ist diese vielleicht meine klassischste Performance\, sie ist gleichzeitig ziehmlich albern. Ich zeige die sehr komplexe Symbiose zwischen Feigen und den sie bestäubenden Feigenwespen\, die den grössten Teil ihres Lebens im inneren der Früchte verbringen. ( Ich folge der Beschreibung von Richard Dawkins.) Um das zeigen zu können\, ersetze ich die Feige durch einen grossen Kürbis und ein Akkuschrauber ersetzt die eierlegende Feigenwespe. Und so fort. Genauso\, wie mit einer klassischen Performance hat dieser Vortrag Ähnlichkeit mit einem Puppentheaterstück. Formally this is probably my most classic performance\, it's rather silly as well. It demonstrates the quite complex symbiosis of figs and their pollinating insects\, the fig wasps\, that spent most of their life inside the fruit. ( I follow the descriptions of Richard Dawkins. ) To be able to show this in reasonable size\, i replace the fig by a pumpkin and the pollinating fig wasp by an electric screwdriver. As well as to classical performance\, this demonstration ressembles to a piece of puppet theatre. 07 March 2013\, 8pm
